I got to pick my seat as the restaurant was pretty empty on a Wednesday afternoon (4pm). It was a nice spacious place.

I ordered the BC combo which was really filling for one person. The BC roll was different than what I expected. It was a lot of crab meat, a third cucumbers, and a small slice of salmon skin. I might as well call it a California roll at that point. The Alaska roll was great in contrast. The sauce they put on top made the difference. The nigiri was generous for fish to rice ratio.

Once it got busy, it was harder to get service. Maybe next time I'll go straight to the counter to pay the bill.

Dis is one of my FAVOURITE sushi places. I absolutely love their LOVE BOATS Mmmmm yummy.

Their sushi is always huge pieces. Same goes for their sashimi.  And their tempura (especially the prawn ones) are always hot, fresh, and golden (they change their oils often)

The wait. Is the only thing that sucks.  See. They refuse to sit you. Until every last person in your group is present.  Which. Is okay. But they are so busy. The wait is long and not a lot of space. Sometimes wait all the way out the doors.

I find the best time to go is 1-1.5 hours before closing.  It's quieter. Slower. And less waiting (usually no wait time).

They do do take out. And it's just as good quality and speed is amazing. It's almost like they have one chef devoted to processing take out orders during peak hours. We've never had to wait for take out. You call. Go down stairs drive 1.5 blocks. Park. It's ready for pick up.

    Truly speedy service.

There was only 1 time they accidentally gave us the wrong order (we ordered a love boat and ended up with more sashimi than the boat should of had (there was a extra 12-13 piece sashimi set that isn't usually with our order. But. We happily ate it lol))

I love Sushi Garden!  Food is fresh and incredible.  There's always a wait...which should tell you something!  I see odd complaints on reviews.  Bad review are unwarranted IMO.  Portions are awesome, the staff works fast and your food arrives timely!  Tip of the day for newbies...there's a eating area (aka bench) along the front window.

    Go here!

This place is pretty decent. My usual order when I get sushi is salmon nigiri and miso soup. So adventurous of me lol.

Their nigiri is fantastique. They put big pieces of salmon and rice that doesn't fall apart. Their miso soup is lacking a certain punch to it. Oh well, it is salty and hot so I can manage.

They also have some unique items on their menu. I ordered their chicken mozarella roll. I know. What the heck am I thinking. It is Delectable. They present it to you on a nice piece of foil...it is so endearing. It consists of chicken. tomato. mozarella. balsamic. It is a wild ride but I only order it around certain people because I do not wish to face scrutiny. If you are looking for a good time get the chicken mozarella roll. I'm serious.

Nice Japanese restaurant near by metro town, their sushi party tray is very value for money, also have different combo at your choice, good place for small group gathering.
